[SOLVED] Error loading covers/pictures with bing

Post by Wollsnoopy » Fri Apr 24, 2015 11:50 am

Hi

I'm using Movienizer 8.0 build 440 portable (actual version) on Win 7 Pro 64bit.
When I try to load pictures with 'Find Covers' with 'Bing' as search engine, I get always the error 'No pictures found. Try changing image search settings', independent of the settings.
In the older version 7.2 all worked fine.

Movienizer used random API keys for Bing.
You can delete BingAPI from the registry.
Or please get personal key at http://www.bing.com/developers/ and save it in the key BingAPI

Found this info searching bingapi in forum. Have used the info myself and got my own bingapi.

Hope this helps

Thank you for your hints.

I renamed the entry name 'BingAPI' to 'BingAPIold' in the registry. After starting Movienizer, the cover search with bing is now working OK again.
Movienizer has created a new entry 'BingAPI' with the same value as the old one! But from now, all is working OK. Serious.

But nevertheless your hints has helped me. Thanks.

PS:
The error with the bing download occurs after an update from version 7.2 to 8.0 of Movienizer.
